The atmospheric perspective adds a unique quality to the piece. The monochromatic color choice makes the image dramatic and interesting. The tree at the right - with no snow - is a strong focal point. It is mesmerizing, it makes us look deeper into the piece. My eye moves around the image and it is a peaceful unique place for me to rest my eyes. The image has so much movement with the frozen water. We are eager to see more!

je reconnais le haut de la belle cascade de Saint-Même... Mais je n'y suis jamais allée l'hiver. La route était accessible en voiture? Le chemin d'accès n'était pas trop glissant?
