Sleepless Night by alexandre-deschaumes Sleepless Night by alexandre-deschaumes
This was one of the most exiting camp site in my life .. We can't behold exactly where we are just now because of the night .. But .. We were completly LOST in the inside land.. amidst a lot of gentle hills and just beyond .. A crazy scape: Moss everywhere mixed with lava , creating a very wide and desolate view .. and a big strange lake.

This is called sleepless night because the inspiring atmosphere of the place .. the unspeakable feeling and the coming of the northern lights left us awake during a big part of the night.

I love these moments when we really feel Alive and .. life make sense.

We're still preparing the Iceland 2011 Workshop

Technically I still have some noise reduction issues .. I allready know it's not that good here ;)

I wish I lived somewhere that I could see the northern lights. Beautiful! I really love the lit up tents too, just makes it more human :)

That's what Iceland does to you: it makes you feel alive. It's something we all have experimented. As if we were in touch with our lost humanity when we are in that remote, primite island. It's all the power of nature around you.
Congratulations for the experiences!

One of these days I will visit an area that receives these lights. They are so beautiful and adding your lights in your tents are great for forground focus. I'm just so envious sitting here at my computer!

Oh wow! The more I see your pictures from Iceland, the more I wanna go there!
But this photo is SO special! In a way, I could kind of imagine myself in one of those tents, living that experience of a life-time :)

Beautiful shot, as always! And the noise isn't bad at all, just a bit and it adds to the magical feeling, I think

for a ISO3200 shot the noise is quite reasonable, it think. even for a full-frame sensor.

wow, that's awesome! i can quite image how you guys felt when also looking at your other iceland shots ;)

Come on my friend, admit it, this is actually the last two tents left after Glastonbury with the fumes of the portaloos overhead. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, this shot is so surreal. I'm looking at it whilst at work and your comment about feeling alive is cutting like a knife. Deep envy.
