The Slow Ascent by alexandre-deschaumes The Slow Ascent by alexandre-deschaumes
'Billaude' Waterfall . Jura mountains . France
Summer 2009

-

Obviously .. I am "IN" The water while making this shot .. mmh!

I like the flow of water towards me and the glowing mossy rocks ... I chose a subtle shutter speed to have the water as it is .. and struggled to find the correct place where the flow just come to the corner of the composition.

Inspired by Raison d'être . The empty hollow unfolds .
( cold meat industry )

Even with all the passion I'm trying to put in my work , as a photographer, and a musician ... Sometimes the "ascent" is still very slow ... and I find myself a bit discouraged .. sometimes ... and I'm in these kind of moments , these days.

(sorry for my strange english)
thank you very much ... for all your words & critiques .

Very cool location and good effort! If you can you really need to fix the blown out water bits in the middle. Rock on :-)

Le timing est super, la texture de l'eau le fait vraiment, c'est classe. ;)
