View above Botnar Hut during the Laugavegur trek in my Workshop in Iceland . June 2011 - 20-29

There's an unspeakable feeling floating around .. This was almost night , a sort of long blue hour with ominous clouds and a very quiet atmosphere . I was standing in front of this Immense glacier , quite close to the Eyjafjallajökull volcano .. Covered with layers of Ashes ..

The upper part of the image (left mountain) appeared as a painting to me ( strange texture ) without any photoshop treatment .

I've used a 70-200 mm F4 L IS with ND grad filter . Warm white balance .

I am in love with the swirls of ash in this image, like the falling sand toy I still have in my closet--and the colors and the light, I have no words for how I adore them. :heart:

I like the title of your band .. I'm curious about the music , because I'm quite into dark music , sometimes .
