Description

Our last day of the workshop. We reached Jokulsarlon for the second time, very late .. We suspected a gap in the sky underneath a large veil of clouds ..

And It happened , for something like 5 minutes the sun came , warming up the whole white balance for a moment ..

We all quickly tried to find any ideas of composition ..

Here I had to remove my shoes and enter the water to reach the good point of view . I remember it was quite COLD

Not much to say; I think this is great.
The colouring is great, blue and orange obviously go together very well, and the path laid out by the sun gives you a clear path. A great contrast of warmth and cold. Beautiful and very well done, but very similar to a lot of other photos I've seen. That's hardly a criticism though. The flash of light on the water to the left is a bit distracting, but the great composition makes up for that. Maybe next time you could make the blues a little more prominent, but I am not sure, as using 50/50 of each colour is usually a bad idea.
Another improvement could be zooming in a bit, so that the lowermost piece of ice and a bit of the iceberg on the left in the background is less visible, so that the picture is a little clearer and to the point, but that might ruin the path effect you have here. Overall, great photo. Good job.
